Hey everyone, my portfolio is finally getting to the size where I'm making a dedicated calendar for it to properly keep track. I was originally using reminders on my phone to keep track of everything. That, however, is not working. Too many reminders blend in with ones from my personal life.

I started using a Google Calendar to try and get a hold of all of my tasks and their dates. I'm tracking lease signing dates, lease end dates, and changing air filters.

What tasks do you all find most helpful to keep on a calendar? What calendar app/program do you use most of the time? I'm wondering if there are any better ones out there.

@[cms52x96q000fsb0n3e04znm4](Eli Morrow) I keep a calendar too and it's helped a lot. Besides lease dates, I also add things like inspections, HVAC servicing, and reminders to reach out before renewals. It's nice not having to rely on my memory for everything anymore

@[cms52x96q000fsb0n3e04znm4](Eli Morrow) I use Google Calendar too. Besides lease dates, I always put in reminders for annual inspections, HVAC filter changes and any follow ups with contractors. If I tell myself I'll remember something later... I usually don't.

Honestly, I think getting a system in place now is a good idea, even with four units. It's a lot easier to build good habits early than try to organize everything once your portfolio grows. I still rely on calendar reminders for things that can't slip, especially inspections, renewals and vendor follow ups.
