Trying to decide if it's worth replacing the flooring now

I have a unit that's about to turn over. The flooring isn't in terrible shape but it's definitely showing its age. Part of me wants to replace it now while it's empty but the other part says wait until it actually needs it.
Would you replace it now or try to get another few years out of it?

We run into this a lot with turns. If the flooring is still in decent shape, I usually look at whether it's going to impact leasing or resident perception.
If it's something most people won't notice, I'd probably hold off and spend that money somewhere else. But if it's starting to make the unit feel dated compared to other options in the area, it can be worth doing while it's already vacant. The nice thing is you only have to deal with the disruption once instead of after someone moves in.
