Which screening service do you all recommend? I used to pull records manually, now I'm looking for a full-service tool. But, I still want to know whether I'm doing everything right compliance-wise…Does anyone use a service that handles the compliance side of things as well?

I don't have a good recommendation on the compliance side of things, other than just googling or Chatgpt. We use Innago for screening, but we also accept Zillow applications from people if they've already filled it out so that they don't have to pay twice.

Nope they have a basic application. I think they have some starting questions in the basic application, but you can customize based on any additional questions you may want to ask. Then they have a bunch of additional screening options - credit check, background check, criminal and eviction check, as well as an income verification. We typically don't use the income verification piece because we feel like applicants providing pay stubs is sufficient (we also reach out to employers to confirm employment).
