I have a quadplex and am looking for solutions to prevent tenants from installing satellites and cables running around the building. What can i do? I dont think i can just prohibit tenants from having cable television..

Good question. I have seen ads from DirecTV and other platforms offering packages for property management companies. Make sure to include certain specifications in the lease. For example, if you don't want wiring, include a "No External Wiring" Clause. You can also include some bundle options in the rent.

Did you know that when someone has dish service, when they leave the company tells them to leave the dish and they will provide an installation and a new dish at the new residence.
So I have taken down a lot of them over the years.
You can't prevent them from having them, BUT you can dictate the install. We have a rule that they CAN'T be mounted to the house, and wiring needs to be ran neatly inside.
I closed on (3) 4 plexes yesterday. A new cable company came to town and last year installed new cable in this complex. Did a shoddy job, big distribution boxes and cables running on the outside of the property.
