Great to meet you, Alejandro! I also just started my journey with a duplex. So far, so good. It's interesting because I live right next to my tenants. This offers the benefits of a closer relationship and reduced miscommunications, but it also comes with the downside of seeming too available. I've had to create boundaries (especially with maintenance requests), so that they understand I have a full life and can't always drop everything to tend to their requests.
