Working on a flip in a mid-tier neighborhood and trying to decide between quartz and a nice laminate for the kitchen counters. Budget is tight and I don't want to overspend on finishes buyers won't notice. What's actually worth the upgrade at this price point?

I'd say laminate's fine at that price point, buyers in mid-tier rarely note the difference at a showing. Save the extra money for stuff people actually notice, like lighting and paint.
