I don't trust the Real estate agent

My friends sold their home for $344,000 however, it was initially at $375,000. The odd part was that after 30 days, the real estate agent told them to lower the price to $350,000. I thought that was a big drop in price and didn't need to react that fast, especially since they were only on the market for 30 days, plus they did get traffic. For some reason, the offer they got wanted more money, down to $340,000, citing that there were major safety hazards in the inspection, which were minor. I don't know it seemed out like the RE agent didn't fit for them. Did anyone else have this kind of weird situation that felt like the RE agent let them down?Reply by Marc St.James
Hard to say without knowing the market, but 30 days doesn't seem that long if they were still getting showings. I'd probably want my agent to explain why they thought a $25k price drop made sense instead of just saying to lower it. Communication goes a long way in situations like that.
