How do you approach tenant screening for student rentals?

I'm renting to college students for the first time and want to make sure I have a solid screening process in place. Since many don’t have much credit history or rental background, I’m curious how others handle things like co-signers, income verification, or reference checks.

What’s worked well for you when screening student tenants?

When I've done this, I have asked for proof of enrollment and proof of recent W2s. Another great way is having thier parent/guardian be a co-signer. I would also ask the co-signer for proof of income as well.
