I've been working on a portfolio of primarily S8 properties in Chicago. I've had ton of success with these and want to invest elsewhere. What are some other Midwest markets good for S8?Reply by Ethan
The market you're looking for is Ohio. You can make millions doing S8 in this state. Try Cleveland, Toledo, around Columbus, Lorain, Akron, and Mansfield

Lots of affordable markets in the Midwest. Ethan is right about ohio, esp. Cleveland/Akron area. Also check out Metro Detroit and Omaha.

My advice is to go the SFH route instead of S8 unless you're very experienced. It seems like you might be and it's great that you've found success in Chicago but every section 8 market is different. Chances are you won't be so lucky next time
