When setting up bank accounts, can a landlord use an EIN instead of a social security number?

Hey Pete!
So that would be separate technically in Innago, but when you first do create your Innago account it will ask you to verify your identity, which happens to be located under the Bank section in Settings.
To verify your identity you do need to enter SSN number but that is just to confirm there is a real person behind the account that will be receiving funds deposited to them. It is just a security measure and information like your social security number and your date of birth are not stored in Innago. They are passed immediately to our verification partners through fully encrypted, TLS-protected channels.
After you verify your identity, that is when you can add your taxable entities and bank accounts (as many as you'd like for both) and that will be done under the Bank section in settings too. When adding your taxable entity that is when you include your EIN number and once saved you can link your bank accounts to the entities.
