Drywall

I’m considering my first flip and could use some advice. The house (built in 1945) is in decent shape. The drywall has been painted multiple times, with visible seams, nail pops, and minor tape cracking. It was recently painted, which makes me wonder if anything is being covered up.
Do most flippers plan to replace drywall in situations like this, or is repair and skim-coating usually enough if there are no major issues?

Repair and skim coating might be the best option. Buyers don't expect new drywall in an old home so if you can make it look better it will save you much more in time and money to repair. Consider accent walls, wallpaper, or stenciling, etc...
