BEWARE - Transunion Background screenings

Good Morning fellow Innago users,
When searching for criminal history, Innago uses TransUnion to provide that data. After having an issues of discrepancies (because the tenant was very honest about their background and this is the only way I would have known), TransUnion's background check came back clean for this applicant when they have several criminal convictions.
WHY are we paying 45.00 (or the tenant rather), to get an inefficient background screening? I would expect Innago to utilize a background check company that checks ALL 50 STATES and their counties.
Without doing this, Innago provides a service that is inefficient and not complete. which will potentially allow landlords to approve tenants they would otherwise not approve.
This was Innago Supports response from TransUnion.
Per TransUnion, when background checks are completed for an applicant, their searches include the current address and the three most recent previous addresses. In this case, for the applicant's three prior addresses were located in Nevada.
Since Nevada is not a covered jurisdiction within TransUnion’s criminal search scope, no criminal searches were conducted there. and the report returned “No Reportable Records.”
Nevada is not included in the searchable jurisdictions and no searches were performed there, the record would not have appeared on the report..
According to an Innago FAQ, it states Nevada doesn't allow this. However, there are other background check companies who do provide this for landlords outside of the state of Nevada when the tenants are not residing in the state of Nevada.
Just be careful as Innago is using TransUnion, and TransUnion doe snot have full criminal history reporting.

I will add to this:
In no way am I saying Innago is completely at fault here as they have very clearly laid out that Nevada has these quirks. I'm simply sending out a warning to those that aren't aware, so that if your prospective tenant is from Nevada, you don't have them pay a 45.00 application fee for literally nothing.
I do think it is advisable that Innago puts it in the fine print somewhere when sending an application that x & y states will not return data per their state guidelines. Otherwise, I think it might behoove Innago to find another background partner that does provide these. As I stated there are some out there that report on/pay for access to those states records.
