Bad Habits...Lets break them Together!

I was just thinking about needing to break a bad habit that I have with my rental property. And that is, that I tend to not check in when everything is fine...I am making a plan to check with my tenants more often. Lets them know that I care about them and also lets me stay more connected with my property. Seems like a win-win to me.I would love to hear everyone else's bad habits and how they plan on breaking them...who knows maybe we can all start being better landlords together, for us and for our tenants.

Disorganized maintenance management. I use text, email, you name it. I want to get better here. I know it would help everyone. It's just that my current approach works just well enough to make switching seem like a priority for a later dateReply by Daniel M.
I think that's a really good habit to work on. From the property management side, it's easy to get caught up in the day to day and forget about the simple checkins. Even a quick message can make a big difference in how residents feel about the management team.
I'm also guilty of letting smaller follow ups sit longer than they should, so definitely something I'm working on too.
