Hey Insight users!
We just released our 2026 Market Outlook Report, based on a survey of 400 Innago users on their housing market sentiment, investing plans, and AI use for 2026.
Some things that stood out to us:
- Lots of investors feeling neutral and cautious about the overall state of their market
- Multifamily predicted to present the biggest opportunity for investors in 2026
- Continued emphasis on cash flow and operational efficiency amid affordability concerns
- Growing interest in Midwest markets
- Over 70% of users surveyed are already using AI, 44% of whom are doing so to increase efficiency
If you’d had a chance to take a look, we’d love to hear how these results compare to what you’re experiencing in your market:
1. Are you feeling optimistic, pessimistic, or neutral about your local market in 2026?
2. Will you most likely expand, maintain, or downsize your portfolio this year?
3. What’s the biggest risk you’re watching right now (interest rates, insurance, vacancies, etc.)?
4. If you invest in the Midwest, are you clocking growing interest in investment?
5. Are you using AI in your rental business? If so, what do you use it for?
Excited to hear this community’s thoughts!

Highly recommend everyone check this report out. It's got some nice nuggets in there. Especially interesting to me was the AI section towards the end. AI usage is only going to accelerate throughout 2026, in my opinion (and plenty of other people's obviously haha)
